Happy Thanksgiving!
The strong winds tore up trees by the roots today. Some were broken in half. Poor trees... Treehuggers, where are you...? Oh, right. Busy tearing down rest of the country...
Happy 4th of July weekend!

Selfie with my dad, whom i may not resemble that much physically. If you met him, you'd know who gave me my, um, feisty personality, though😜 the other pic is of me and his wife (not my mom.)

Are you healthy or overweight? Just because your weight is normal or even low, it doesn't mean you're healthy. You may be skinny fat. Conversely, just because you're on the heavy side, it doesn't mean you're necessarily unhealthy. Measure your body fat to find out! Underwater weighing is most accurate, but is not common at fitness facilities. Practically all gyms have skinfold calipers, though. Unless you have a stomach with lots of intestinal fat, measuring skinfolds is pretty accurate. The leaner you are, the more accurate it will be. Many facilities have body fat scales, which you can also buy for your house. These scales send a current through your body to determine body fat, visceral and subcutaneous. The InBody scale is by far the most accurate. Some Drs use it at annual physicals.
Okay, I'll admit it. I'm obsessed with my Andy... #tuesdaythoughts #catoftheday #cats #crazycatlover #crazycatmom
Incorporate a few full-body exercises, aka multi-joint or compound exercises, into your strength-training routine. I'm doing a one-arm low row with squats here, which makes you functionally strong and burns lots of calories. Add jumps to each squat as you get fitter. Note the rotation I'm adding at the end of each squat row. It'll strengthen your obliques.
